Associate Manager - HR Compliance

Job Description:

The Associate Manager - HR Compliance is a critical role that involves ensuring the organization's adherence to all applicable statutory and regulatory labor laws. This includes managing end-to-end execution, documentation, governance, vendor coordination, audits, and proactive process improvement across HR compliance activities at the entity and group levels.

  • Ensure timely compliance with all applicable labor laws: EPF, ESIC, PT, LWF, CLRA, S&E Acts, ID Act, Gratuity Act, etc.
  • Oversee state-wise compliance requirements and filings across locations.
  • Conduct onboarding checks for statutory forms and declarations (Form 2, ESIC, PF nomination, UAN verification).
  • Address and resolve employee PF-related queries in coordination with vendors and regional offices.
  • Ensure real-time tracking and closure of compliance deliverables using organizational compliance tracking systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Labour Law, or related field.
  • Additional certification in labour law or statutory compliance preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR compliance, preferably in a regulated industry (financial services, fintech, or insurance).
  • Hands-on experience managing compliance audits, inspections, and liaising with regulatory authorities.
  • Strong knowledge of central and state labor laws and statutory regulations.
  • Familiarity with sector-specific compliance (IRDAI, RBI, SEBI).
  • Ability to manage multi-state compliance complexity.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and audit readiness.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using compliance tracking tools, HRMS, and MS Office.
