Project Manager Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to oversee end-to-end project activities within our modular furniture manufacturing unit.

The ideal candidate will coordinate between design, production, procurement, and installation teams to ensure timely execution of client orders.

  • Create project scope statements, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Prepare proposals, budgets, and schedules for clients and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and clients to finalize design concepts.
  • Evaluate design specifications against client requirements and budget constraints.
  • Oversee the development of technical drawings and documentation.

Financial Management:

  • Establish and monitor project budgets.
  • Approve material procurements, furniture purchases, and vendor contracts.
  • Manage cost variations and ensure financial targets are met.

Vendor Selection & Management:

  • IDentify, evaluate, and select vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and installation processes.

Construction Oversight:

  • Supervise on-site activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors, workers, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress and resolve issues promptly.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Conduct regular site inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Address non-conformance issues.

Schedule & Timeline Management:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Track progress and adjust plans as needed.
  • Ensure timely completion of milestones and final delivery.

Communication:

  • Maintain transparent communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports.
  • Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks.
  • Develop mitigation strategies.
  • Address unforeseen issues proactively.

Post-Project Closeout:

  • Conduct final inspections and obtain approvals.
  • Ensure proper handover of documentation, warranties, and manuals.
  • Gather client feedback and conduct post-occupancy evaluations.

Key Skills:

  • Detailed understanding of steel structures and furniture concepts.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Any relevant degree related to this profile.
  • 5+ years of experience in a design or technical support role, preferably in the modular furniture manufacturing industry.
