Job Description

As a seasoned data engineering professional, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing large-scale data processing systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in crafting production-ready ETL pipelines that can handle massive datasets efficiently.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing complex data processing workflows using Apache Spark and Hadoop
  • Developing and maintaining robust ETL pipelines that can scale to handle terabytes of data
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in Python, including popular libraries like Pandas and NumPy
  • Strong background in distributed data processing and storage
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure (high preference), AWS, and GCP
  • Knowledge of data lake and data lake house patterns
  • Excellent software engineering practices and coding skills
Nice to Have Skills

The following skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience with Azure Databricks
  • Knowledge of DevOps and ETL pipeline orchestration
  • Certifications in Databricks, Azure, AWS, and GCP

Professional Requirements

  • BA/BSc in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in data engineering
