Senior Data Engineer Position

This is a challenging role for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to work with our team. We are looking for someone who can lead the implementation of large-scale data processing pipelines and architectures on Azure.

  • Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience as a senior developer with expertise in big data and Hadoop implementation in Azure environments.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of advanced analytics architectures.
  • Proficient in working with Hadoop distributions and understanding core concepts and best practices.
  • Experience in building, tuning, and deploying Spark pipelines using Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Ability to write complex Hive queries to drive business-critical insights.
  • Understanding of Data Lake vs Data Warehousing concepts and their applications.
  • Exposure to AWS Cloud, particularly Lambda, EMR, and Kinesis, is a plus.
