Job Overview

This is a key leadership role that oversees the growth and expansion of our Auto Logistics Division and Inland Transportation.

Duties include:

  • To actively participate in Request for Quote (RFQ) and New Enquiry processes, gaining a thorough understanding of client requirements to design an optimal solution.
  • To analyze existing yard, in-plant, and warehousing industry product flow processes, evaluating manpower productivity and calculating efficiencies through time motion studies to develop effective solutions.
  • To create process flowcharts, resource mapping, and manpower allocation plans.
  • To calculate operational expenditure (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX) for projects.
  • To collaborate with Operations teams for operational insights and support business development requirements with operational inputs and pricing.
  • To analyze historical data to provide flexible solutions, achieving cost efficiency.
  • To assist in contract negotiations and finalization of commercial terms to deliver the best possible cost-effective solutions.
  • To coordinate with Project Implementation Teams and ensure smooth project implementation.

Pre-Requisites

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Contract Logistics Domain.
  • Good understanding of In-plant, yard operations, and warehousing businesses across multiple industries, including transport operations and processes.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • Strong research and strategic analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data to work on effective solutions.
  • Market/Business Intelligence.
  • Attention to detail.
  • High competency in Microsoft Office.
