About the Position

As a senior testing specialist at Ascendion, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

This role involves developing end-to-end testing plans for complex software systems and utilizing Python and Pytest framework to execute automation tests.

You will lead API testing initiatives, conduct web application testing with Selenium, and mobile testing using Appium to enhance product performance on diverse platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test architecture design, Agile methodologies, and excellent communication skills.

We are looking for a motivated individual who can provide technical guidance to junior team members and continuously evaluate new tools and technologies to optimize testing processes.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required. Experience with Python, Pytest framework, Selenium, API testing, and Appium is also necessary.

A strong understanding of test architecture design, Agile methodologies, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of test architecture design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile environments and implementing Agile testing practices.
