We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic mental health professional to join our team in a premier institute in West Bengal.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing overnight mental health support, conducting counseling sessions, facilitating walk-in sessions and managing student appointments through a designated portal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing emotional support to students on a rotational basis
- Conducting in-person counseling sessions in student hostels
- Facilitating walk-in sessions and managing student appointments
- Building trust and accessibility with students through regular floor walks
- Maintaining timely case notes, records, and reports while upholding strict confidentiality and ethical standards
Requirements for this role include:
- A Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology
- 1-8 years of experience (or strong interest) in working with youth/academic mental health
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with students in an empathetic way
- Comfortable with flexible working hours, including night shifts
- Fluency in English and Hindi (knowledge of Bengali is a plus)
