Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional ETL Data Warehouse Tester to lead and manage a team of testers for ETL data warehouse and Business Intelligence testing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive test strategies, quality assurance frameworks, and leading the team in achieving project goals.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data warehouse ETL and BI testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and quality frameworks. They will also possess excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and quality assurance frameworks
  • Create and maintain testing standards methodologies and best practices
  • Oversee test planning estimation and resource allocation
  • Review and approve test plans test cases and test scenarios
  • Monitor testing progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Manage defect tracking and resolution process across teams
  • Coordinate with development teams business users and other stakeholders
  • Establish metrics and KPIs for measuring testing effectiveness
  • Mentor team members and facilitate their professional development
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies
  • Manage UAT activities and client relationships
  • Conduct performance reviews and skill assessments
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 8-12 years of testing experience with 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong experience in data warehouse ETL and BI testing
  • Expertise in Qlik QlikView Qlik Sense testing and validation
  • Advanced SQL skills and database management knowledge
  • Proven experience in test management tools ALM JIRA
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and quality frameworks
  • Experience in managing performance testing initiatives
  • Excellent project management and risk assessment skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in resource planning and capacity management
  • Preferred Qualifications: B.Tech preferred
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and strategies
  • Knowledge of multiple BI platforms Tableau Power BI
  • Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies
  • Testing certifications ISTQB CSTE is a plus
  • Experience in implementing test automation frameworks
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in data quality management
  • Experience in managing offshore onshore testing teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in challenging environments and meet deadlines
  • Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously
