Job Description:

As a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer, you will spearhead the design and implementation of an end-to-end automation framework for our on-prem GPU cloud environment. This role demands deep technical expertise across bare-metal provisioning, configuration management, and full-stack automation from hardware to Kubernetes built entirely on GitOps principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting and leading fully automated zero-touch deployment pipelines for GPU cloud infrastructure spanning hardware to OS to Kubernetes to platform layers
  • Designing and maintaining automation for bare-metal control, power cycling, provisioning, remote installs, firmware and configuration flashing, hardware inventory management, configuration drift detection, and remediation
  • Developing and extending internal automation frameworks using Ansible, Python, and related infrastructure tooling

Technical Expertise:

You will require deep expertise in Ansible for automation and configuration management, Python for scripting, integration, and automation logic, and ipmitool and related tools for low-level hardware management. Additionally, you will need experience with building and scaling infrastructure automation systems, with primary key skills being Ansible, Python, ipmitool, firmware scripting, and Linux shell scripting.
