Job Title:

Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Description:

This position is responsible for delivering high-quality IT infrastructure services to support the availability, stability, and performance of our datacentres, platforms, and corporate systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in AIX operating system administration, knowledge of automation scripting, and experience with latest server and storage technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing AIX servers, SAN, and storage arrays
  • Implementing Backup, Replication, HA, and Recovery technologies
  • Maintaining AIX Server Security Management and hardware
  • Ensuring application availability, performance, security, reliability, and value for money
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver new system projects on time and within budget

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Degree-qualified or equivalent industry certifications and experience
  • AIX operating system administration skills
  • Knowledge of automation scripting
  • Keen interest in and knowledge of latest server and storage technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and time-management skills
