Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud)

  • The role involves developing and maintaining highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure and services within a managed service environment. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing deployments in QA/Stage/Production environments, engaging stakeholders as required, and adhering to SLAs.

  • Implement infrastructure as code, security, and process automation, and automate routine maintenance tasks. Create and deliver knowledge-sharing presentations and documentation.

  • Participate in and lead war-room/critical outage calls, ensuring RCA processes are implemented.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience working on AWS, Kubernetes orchestration, and EKS.

  • 6+ years of production environment experience.

  • Experience with infra-automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

  • Knowledge of Linux environments and at least one scripting language.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Harness, ArgoCD, and other tools.

  • Understanding of application performance monitoring tools like Datadog, Instana, Grafana, Splunk, PagerDuty, Pingdom, and CloudWatch.

  • Good knowledge of DevOps and cloud operation processes, Agile release processes, L2/L3 ticketing processes, and SRE roles.

  • Experience with source control and management tools like Git.

This role involves working in 16 X 5 shifts for support of infrastructure, weekly rotational shifts, morning or evening.

Preferred skills include knowledge of AI tools and Savant with Amazon SageMaker Services.
