**Job Title:** Category Manager

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Category Leader to oversee the growth and development of our Toys category. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of consumer behavior, product assortment, and supplier networks within the Toys industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Scale the Toys category by partnering with leading brands to expand their presence across e-commerce marketplaces and offline retail channels.
  • Manage Brand Lifecycle for global brands, ensuring their success in international markets through strategic planning and execution.
  • Curate Brand Portfolio by selecting and managing a diverse range of toys brands that meet our business goals and objectives.
  • Drive Growth through assortment expansion, SKU optimization, packaging redesign, content creation, and supply chain improvement, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize brand performance.
  • Omnichannel Presence is essential for our success, so you'll work to develop and maintain a robust presence across e-commerce and offline channels.
  • Profitability and Scalability are key performance indicators, so you'll focus on margin management and GMV contribution to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in category management, including 4+ years in offline retail and eCommerce, and 2+ years in the Toys category (preferred).
  • Consumer Insight: A deep understanding of Toys' specific consumer behavior, product assortment, manufacturing, and supplier network.
  • Marketplace Expertise: Proven expertise in marketplace/retail selling, including category strategy, pricing, visibility, and marketing levers.
  • Assortment Management: Demonstrated success in scaling assortment and lifecycle SKU management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven record of collaboration across brand, ops, tech, and analytics teams.
