We are seeking an Internal Auditor to provide independent and objective assurance on our internal control maturity level. The successful candidate will also provide advisory services designed to add value and improve our organization's operations.
The ideal candidate will help us accomplish our objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes in compliance with IIA standards.
This role involves identifying opportunities for improvements in management control, efficiency, and profitability, as well as improving the quality, exhaustiveness, and reliability of operational and financial information reported.
Responsibilities include participating in audit planning, maintaining scheduling of the internal audit program, carrying out audits as Audit Team Leader, preparing updates and maintenance of the Internal Audit Working Program, and analyzing internal audit results.
The successful candidate will also participate in training seminars for Audit Team Leaders and Members, provide internal audit training to guest auditors, and serve as the Audit liaison for all internal audit matters impacting India and SEAP regions.
Key qualifications include good knowledge of auditing techniques and procedures, social/interpersonal skills, accounting knowledge, organizational skills, presentation skills, excellent writing skills, and a minimum education of a University degree in accounting and finance.
A minimum of three years of audit experience from a big four audit firm or two years of experience in a finance department or hospitality sector, or five years in the hospitality sector in Finance is required.
Languages: Fluent in English, verbal and written. Knowledge of other languages such as Hindi and Chinese is an advantage.
