Our team seeks a seasoned Senior Physical Design Engineer to join our ranks. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional looking to make a meaningful contribution in the field of digital design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute top-level floor planning strategies, incorporating principles of Partitioning, Placement, Scan-chain reordering, Clock Tree Synthesis, Timing Optimization, Signal Integrity Aware Routing, and Timing Analysis/Closure.
  • Collaborate on cutting-edge 65nm or lower node designs, leveraging advanced low-power techniques such as Voltage Islands, Power Gating, and substrate-bias.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior Physical Design Engineers, fostering their growth and development.
  • Interact with front-end ASIC teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Drive Low Power Design initiatives using Voltage Islands, Power Gating, and Substrate-bias techniques.
  • Ensure Timing Closure on DDR2/DDR3/PCIE interfaces.
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively through written and oral presentations.
  • Utilize extensive experience with Cadence, Synopsys, or Magma physical design tools to deliver high-quality results.
  • Apply expertise in scripting languages like PERL, TCL to automate tasks and streamline processes.
  • Exercise strong Physical Verification skills to guarantee design integrity.
  • Perform Static Timing Analysis using Primetime or Primetime-SI tools.
  • Maintain excellent communication skills and document plans clearly.
  • Interface effectively with diverse teams, prioritizing work based on project requirements.
