Job Overview:

This position involves the processing of company invoices and end-to-end Accounts Payable processes, with daily contact with suppliers and close cooperation with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registering supplier invoices
  • Investigating supplier invoice disputes on a regular basis
  • Running periodic reports in Excel and addressing open queries
  • Reconciliation of Supplier statements and dispute resolution
  • Archiving and filing of documents according to local legislation
  • Collaborating closely with Business Development Managers, Product Specialists and aligned vendor contacts
  • Managing and maintaining the pipeline for opportunities within defined criteria and accounts base
  • Providing assistance and support to colleagues on inquiries
  • Developing and maintaining working relationships with vendor personnel
  • Taking ownership of self-development in product knowledge and job competencies, achieving all objectives set
  • Analyzing and reviewing vendor statements for accuracy, resolving less complex invoice discrepancies and entering data into the system
  • Preparing and processing accounts payable checks, wire transfers and ACH payments
  • Communicating AP related processes and status to external and internal suppliers verbally and in writing

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and proactive approach
  • Strong desire to provide excellent customer service, resolving enquiries efficiently and professionally
  • Ability to gain a high-level understanding of the Client product portfolio (training will be provided)
  • A confident self-starter and strong team player
  • Ability to perform under pressure and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Ability to demonstrate that the individual can work effectively independently and as a responsible, conscientious and reliable team member
  • Sound business acumen and ability to understand and interact with customers
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications

Your Expertise:

  • Fluency in English (Spoken & Written)
  • Fast learner with the ability to quickly pick up new systems and processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables)
  • Numerate with accounting knowledge and adept at Supply chain management accounting (preferably Electronic industry)
  • Experience from a similar role would be an advantage
