About this role:

This position involves leading third-party audits of SA 8000 on behalf of DNV as an APSCA Part 3 qualified team leader.

  • Engage with customers at all levels of management to develop timely, complete and accurate reports of their current level of compliance or implementation of their management system.
  • Document and report audit activities and results, including SAI Tool Reporting.
  • Approve reports and issue certificates in a timely manner.
  • Manage key customer relationships.
  • Support the sales team on technical aspects.
  • Familiarity with digital tools is required.
  • Maintain audit credentials and pursue advancement of those credentials as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • APSCA Level 3 qualification and experience as a lead auditor in SA 8000.
  • An engineering degree with at least 8-10 years of industry experience.
  • Rich experience in social compliance auditing.
  • Lead auditor qualifications in QMS (9001), EMS (14001), OHSMS (45001), EnMS (50001) are an added advantage.
  • Strong computer literacy and MS Office skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Fluency in additional languages is an added advantage.
