Job Opportunity: Senior Tester

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality testing services and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tester with 8-10 years of experience in creating test cases, executing tests, reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers.
  • The successful candidate will have expertise in manual testing, API automation using REST Assured, and testing of cloud-hosted applications and customer-facing applications.
  • Experience in creating test automation for APIs, single or multiple microservices, and building test scripts for test automation frameworks is also desired.
  • The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and excellent technical skills, including SQL and troubleshooting abilities.
  • NODE/JavaScript experience or other relevant languages are also preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create, maintain, and execute test cases/suites as well as analyze results.
  2. Identify defects, analyze root causes, and implement mitigation steps to resolve issues.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business stakeholders, and infrastructure teams, to ensure progress, pace, and velocity needs are met.
  4. Manage and prioritize functional and technical backlogs and defect burn-downs effectively.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in software testing with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Expertise in API automation using REST Assured and testing of cloud-hosted applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • NODE/JavaScript experience or other relevant languages.
