Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to build robust automation frameworks, design maintainable test suites, and ensure flawless product delivery across APIs, microservices, and web applications.

This role involves leveraging strong expertise in Playwright for web UI automation, designing data-driven and reusable test scripts ensuring scalability and high coverage, integrating automated tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define test strategies.

Requirements include hands-on experience in QA automation, strong expertise in Playwright, good working knowledge of REST API testing, experience with CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with SQL, and strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

  • Design and Develop Automated Test Suites: Create end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js) to ensure speed, precision, and quality.
  • Extend and Optimize Automation Frameworks: Enhance and refine existing automation frameworks for UI, REST APIs, and microservices testing.
  • Integrate Automated Tests into CI/CD Pipelines: Seamlessly integrate automated tests into GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or other CI/CD pipelines.
  • Write Data-Driven Test Scripts: Craft data-driven and reusable test scripts that ensure scalability and high coverage.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define test strategies and ensure successful product delivery.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Hands-On Experience in QA Automation: 2–4 years of experience in QA automation.
  • Playwright Expertise: Strong expertise in Playwright for web UI automation (TypeScript/Node.js preferred).
  • REST API Testing: Good working knowledge of REST API testing (using Playwright, PyTest, or equivalent frameworks).
  • CI/CD Pipeline Experience: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into delivery workflows.
  • SQL Familiarity: Familiarity with SQL for basic data validation.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
