High-Performance Memory Circuit Designer

Our team is seeking a seasoned memory design expert to spearhead the development of high-performance and low-power memory circuits for next-generation cores.

  • We are looking for an experienced individual with expertise in SRAM/memory design, margin, char, and related quality checks.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of physical implementation impact on circuit performance and power vs performance vs area trade-offs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing memory compilers and fast cache instances using advanced computer architecture concepts.
  • Understanding and applying SRAM architecture, critical path modeling, full cut analysis, and Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Performing design verification tasks, including sense amplifier analysis, self-time analysis, and marginality analysis.
  • Designing and developing digital circuits for memory blocks like SRAM, register files, and caches.
  • Simulating and verifying functionality to optimize for power, performance, area, timing, and yield.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in SRAM/memory design with expertise in margin, char, and related quality checks.
  • Strong knowledge of physical implementation impact on circuit performance and power vs performance vs area trade-offs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead small teams of designers.
  • Experience with Cadence or Synopsys flows and circuit simulation/optimization of standard cells.

Nice to Have:

  • Some experience working on FinFet technologies and bitcell stability analysis.
  • Exposure to high-speed/low-power CMOS circuit design, clocking scheme, static and complex logic circuits.
