Job Summary

The Chief Financial Officer at HireBloc will play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial strategy, ensuring the organization's financial health and integrity. This position requires a seasoned finance professional with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the finance and accounting team, providing strategic guidance on financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's overall strategic goals.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Manage the budgeting process and monitor financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.
  • Conduct financial analysis and risk assessment to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
  • Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions and other partners.
  • Implement and optimize financial systems and processes.
  • Provide leadership in evaluating and executing potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships.
  • Participate in strategic planning and forecasting activities.
  • Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite.
  • Experience in a managerial role within a similar industry.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
