We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Director of Finance to lead our India Center of Excellence (CoE) financial operations. This role will oversee all financial functions, ensuring alignment with global financial practices and providing strategic financial guidance.

The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with extensive experience in accounting, financial management, and compliance within a global software product organization. This role will work closely with the CFO to drive the financial strategy of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all finance functions for the India CoE, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian (IGAP), International (IFRS), and US GAAP accounting standards.
  • Oversee financial planning processes, including long-term strategy, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasts.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, including transfer pricing, tax planning, and statutory audits.
  • Manage end-to-end financial operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and expense management.
  • Collaborate with global finance teams to align financial policies, systems, and processes.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Provide strategic insights and analysis to support business decision-making, growth initiatives, and cost optimization.
  • Lead initiatives related to financial performance, risk management, and operational efficiencies.
  • Partner with the CFO on cash flow management, investment strategies, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team, ensuring high standards of performance and professional growth.

Key Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 15+ years of relevant financial management experience in a global software product firm, with 5 years of experience in a leadership position.
  • Expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, IGAP, and transfer pricing regulations.
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Solid understanding of taxation and statutory compliance in India.
  • Proven track record of working closely with C-suite executives, especially the CFO, on strategic financial initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems.

Highly Preferred:

  • Experience working in a multinational software product company with global financial exposure.
