Job Description

  • Implement and maintain network infrastructure systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Configure and administer Cisco routing and switching equipment to support business growth and scalability.
  • Manage F5 load balancers to guarantee application uptime and responsiveness.
  • Administer Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IP address management systems to streamline network operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues using analytical skills and expertise.
  • Perform regular network maintenance and planned upgrades to prevent downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor network performance and conduct capacity planning to ensure smooth operation.
  • Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
  • Implement network security measures and best practices to protect against cyber threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their skills and expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Masters degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in Network Operations, OR
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent with 6+ years of experience in Network Operations, OR
  • Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of experience in Network Operations, OR

Functional Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Previous CCNP certification (required)
  • Demonstrable experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies (required)
  • Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining F5 load balancers (required)
  • Proficiency with Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions (required)
  • Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, etc.)
  • Experience with network security concepts and implementation

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • CCIE certification
  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with network monitoring tools
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices
  • Experience with DevOps, S/W development and scripting
  • Experience with Software-Defined Networking (SD-WAN)
  • Familiarity with network orchestration platforms
  • Good knowledge of industry tools

Professional Certifications:

  • CCNP certification (mandatory)
  • CCIE certification (preferred)
  • F5 Certified Expert (preferred)
  • Infoblox certification (preferred)
