Job Title:

Data Science Expert: Machine Learning and Analytics Leader

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Data Science expert to join our team as a Left Data Science Specialist.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of machine learning, advanced analytics, and MLOps concepts, and will be able to design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using xgboost, random forest, Deep learning, neural networks, and other techniques.

In addition, they will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into our products and services, collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless deployment, scaling, consumption, and monitoring of models, and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud computing, ML/DL tools, and scripting languages.

Key Requirements:
  • Technical Skills:
    • Hands-on experience with Python, MLFlow, Airflow, Terraform, Cloudformation, AWS (Lambda functions, ECS, ECR, Datazone, Sagemaker AI, Dynamo DB), and Spark/Tensorflow/Pytorch/Scikit-learn.
    • Strong understanding of data analysis, machine learning techniques, Bayesian methods, neural networks, ensemble methods, and statistical data analysis.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Cloud-based platforms, such as AWS Glue and AWS Unified Studio.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
