Quantitative Trader Role Overview

Job Description:

As a Quantitative Trader, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and executing systematic trading strategies across various asset classes to deliver consistent profitability. Your expertise in navigating complex market conditions will enable our organization to achieve its goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement quantitative models to optimize trading performance.
  • Manage and maintain the effectiveness of our trading book through strategic capital allocation and risk management techniques.
  • Analyze market microstructure to inform data-driven decision-making and adapt our strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance strategy development and share insights.
  • Leverage advanced statistical, mathematical, and algorithmic tools to drive execution and performance improvements.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on trading experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Domain knowledge of Indian/Global markets (F&O, HFT/MFT trading) is essential.
  • Experience managing significant trading books/margins.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Deep understanding of market microstructure, risk management, and trading systems.
  • Highly disciplined, self-motivated individual capable of performing under pressure.
