Job Title: Strategic Business Development LeadAs a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth. Your expertise in financial modeling, market analysis, and stakeholder engagement will enable us to navigate the ever-changing business landscape.Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing & Implementing Strategic Plans: Create and execute comprehensive plans to drive business expansion, leveraging your knowledge of market trends and competitor activities.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery and successful outcomes through effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.
  • Corporate Planning/Development: Identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances that align with our business objectives.
  • Innovation & Growth Initiatives: Foster a culture of innovation within the organization to drive growth, overseeing the development of new products, services, and business models.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and build support for strategic initiatives, communicating progress to various stakeholders effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and business case creation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to senior stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in tools like PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate and deliver results in ambiguous and fast-changing business environments.
  • Strategic mindset with a keen eye for detail and commercial implications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BE | BTech in Chemical Engineering.
  • MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, etc.).
  • 15 to 17 years of experience in strategic roles within the chemical or allied sectors.
  • Prior exposure to business development, corporate planning, or strategy consulting.
  • Experience in techno-commercial functions is a strong advantage.
