Job Description

We are seeking an experienced financial professional to assist with the implementation and support of Oracle Fusion Financials modules across multiple entities. This is a contract role with an initial duration of six months (renewable) and remote work environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying problems and opportunities within the organization and providing solutions that help achieve business goals during the transformation phase. They will collaborate with finance teams, implementation partners, and IT teams to effectively implement Fusion Financials modules, bridging existing technology gaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and support Oracle Fusion Financials modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management).
  2. Conduct detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for finance functions. Define business requirements and report them back to stakeholders.
  3. Collect and analyze business requirements for Fusion Financials Implementation projects.
  4. Write business requirement documents and other functional and technical documentations.
  5. Assist in design, development, testing, and implementation of the fusion solution.
  6. Integrate Oracle Fusion Financials with third-party applications e.g., banking systems, procurement systems, etc.
  7. Provide suggestions to enhance/ automate ERP applications for optimal financial performance.
  8. Identify functional gaps and provide corrective actions. Ensure that project deliverables meet customer specifications.
  9. Provide technical expertise in building financial reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  10. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  11. Resolve technical and operational problems in a timely fashion. Respond to stakeholder queries and concerns promptly.
  12. Develop testing scenarios and write test scripts. Work with documentation teams to develop user guides and training materials.
  13. Develop functional models, conduct benchmarking, and process analysis. Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the finance function.
  14. Provide assistance in data cleansing, transformation & data mapping activities corresponding to the migration phase of the projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent education.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in business/information analysis with a focus on Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • Must have worked on Oracle SAAS & PAAS applications and have strong integration experience.
  • Minimum of 2 End-to-End Oracle Fusion Implementation experience.
  • Oracle Fusion Financials Certification is preferable.
  • Proven working experience as a Financials Business Analyst, proficient in Oracle Fusion Financials modules & spreadsheets.
  • Experience working within a project-centric industry, such as construction, is a bonus.
  • Oracle EBS implementation experience is a bonus.
