Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team. This role combines project-level financial management with corporate accounting responsibilities and requires collaboration with global teams across multiple international studios.

The ideal candidate will be financially savvy, detail-oriented, and able to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders while ensuring compliance with global standards and local regulations.

  • Project Financial Management:
    • Financial Review: Ensure bid proposals and agreements comply with financial requirements and client expectations.
    • Project Set-up: Establish projects in ERP systems according to company policy.
    • Document Management: Collect and maintain legal documentation for sub-consultants.
    • Financial Reporting: Provide timely financial reports, forecasts, and profitability analyses, recommending corrective actions where needed.
    • Revenue Recognition: Ensure compliance with GAAP ASC 606 and other relevant standards.
    • Invoicing: Collaborate with Project Managers to prepare monthly invoices and requisition forms.
    • Collections: Support collections and resolve overdue accounts in coordination with leadership.
    • Project Close-out: Assist with project close-out in accordance with company policy.
  • Corporate & Local Finance Management:
    • Accounting Records: Maintain accurate corporate and local accounting records.
    • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee vendor payments, expense coding, reimbursements, and cash application.
    • Financial Statements: Prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow forecasts.
    • Tax Compliance: Handle tax computations, filings, and local compliance requirements.
    • Fixed Assets: Maintain fixed asset registers and financial schedules.
    • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
    • Audit Support: Assist auditors with year-end closing and documentation.
    • Payroll Management: Manage payroll processing and employee cash advances.
    • Compliance: Maintain statutory registrations, certificates, and office compliance records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years' accounting experience in a professional services environment; AEC industry preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' supervisory or management experience.
  • ERP experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with US-GAAP, IFRS, and IND-AS.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and compliance with financial regulations.
