About this Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance professional with expertise in Selenium and Cypress to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, write efficient test scripts, perform automation and manual testing, execute automated tests, and identify and resolve any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable automated test scripts using Selenium and Cypress.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements and develop appropriate automation strategies.
  • Analyze software applications and identify areas for automation.
  • Validate software functionality, performance, and reliability through automated tests.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test failures and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines for automated testing.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to test automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize test cases for automation.
  • Develop and maintain test data and test environments necessary for test execution.
  • Monitor and report test results, metrics, and defects to ensure timely and accurate feedback to the development team.
  • Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Selenium/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript programming.
  • In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and practices.
  • Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, MCA or related field.
  • Experience with other test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Cucumber, TestNG, TestCafe, Playwright).
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
  • Certifications related to software testing and test automation.
