Key Role in Corporate Governance and Legal Affairs

This pivotal position plays a crucial role in overseeing corporate governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing disputes, and providing expert legal counsel on various matters. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Corporate Governance:
    • Oversee corporate secretarial and compliance-related matters for legal entities in South Asia.
    • Manage corporate governance projects, including acquisitions, restructurings, and the establishment of new legal entities.
  • Commercial Legal Support:
    • Provide timely and accurate legal advice to stakeholders on a wide range of commercial and contractual topics.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, agreements, and other arrangements related to sales, purchases, supply, consultancy, agency, distribution, real estate, construction, mining, and banking.
  • Compliance and Dispute Resolution:
    • Ensure implementation of Group compliance programs and provide advice on compliance-related issues.
    • Manage disputes, pre-litigation, and litigation matters, including arbitration, and develop effective strategies to resolve complex legal issues.
  • Advisory and Stakeholder Support:
    • Offer strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders and collaborate with business teams to align legal support with business objectives.
