Accountant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced accountant professional to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing various financial tasks.

  • Financial Tasks:
  • Manage Accounts Payable by checking and entering all PC, supplier bills, and other TDS related bills with proper supporting documents.
  • Prepare Monthly Statements of TDS with TDS Reconciliation.
  • Prepare PC/Labour Liability Statement and submit it to the Finance Head for approval of labour and PC payment.
  • Prepare Supplier Liability Statement within the specified period as per guidelines.
  • Update Fixed Assets Register along with details on a monthly basis within the specified date.
  • Responsible for preparation of statements of statutory dues (i.e., TDS, PF, Service Tax, ESI etc.) and remittances to RO/HO.
  • GST compliances to check and reconcile GSTR 2B & 3B & GSTR 1.
  • Ensure timely preparation of monthly profitability statements, cash flow, various reconciliation statements & other cost control reports.
  • Timely monitoring and preparation of BGs, LC's, corporate guarantees & bonds with clients as well as banks.
  • Working experience is required in SAP environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws and statutory compliances.
  • Experience in SAP environment is required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
