Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Optic Specialist to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks.

This role involves working on field deployment, testing, and ensuring high-quality connectivity for enterprise and ISP networks.

  • Assist in installing, splicing, terminating, and testing fiber optic cables to ensure seamless connectivity.
  • Perform OTDR, power meter, and light source testing to verify network quality.
  • Support network maintenance, fault identification, and restoration of fiber breaks to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of fiber routes, splicing details, and test reports to facilitate future reference.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fiber technologies, including single mode and multi-mode fibers.

A diploma or B.Tech degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, or a related field is required.

The successful candidate will possess hands-on experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance, as well as basic knowledge of fiber splicing machines and related tools.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role, as the candidate will work closely with field teams, contractors, and customers during project execution.

Preferred competencies include an understanding of FTTH, DWDM, MPLS, and backbone fiber networks, as well as exposure to ISP / Telecom / Infrastructure projects.

Knowledge of safety standards and industry best practices is also desirable.
