Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing of all materials required for O&M (Operations & Maintenance) and projects across PAN India.

(Gearbox, Generator, Transformer, Encoders, Cables, Lubricants, Control panel spares, electronic items, Carbon Brushes, Engineering components, Bearings, Consumables, Hydraulic tools & Project tools and Commissioning tools).

  • Preparation of contracts for service providers for turbine maintenance.
  • Release of purchase orders in SAP for material requirements from various PAN India sites.
  • Coordination with site-in-charge personnel for material requirements during high wind season.
  • Review of site stocks through SAP to ensure critical spares are available at sites during high wind seasons.
  • Development of new vendors as per requirements and delivery of materials to various sites from nearest sources to reduce cost and time.
  • Planning of long lead items like ABB spares, bearings, encoders, electrical control systems, lubricants for gearbox, import materials, and critical spares well in advance to avoid shortage of items during high wind season.
  • Preparation of MIS reports and sending it to the Chief Supply Chain Officer for review and reference.
  • Initiation of discussion with supply partners for Vendor Managed Inventory model (VMI) at all sites covering PAN India.
  • Preparation of cash flow statements for materials and services, including LC planning for material purchases.

Requirements:

  • Strong purchasing skills with experience in managing inventory and supplies.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of SAP and other ERP systems is a plus.
