**Purchase Executive – AV/IT Solutions

Working Hours:
9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B.Com preferred).
  • Knowledge of AV suppliers and OEMs' special pricing process.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with AV/IT brands (LG, Samsung, Crestron, Extron, Sony, Kramer, etc.) and their products.
  • Strong task management and PO tracking abilities.
  • High numerical accuracy and analytical skills.
  • 2–8 years of relevant or industry-related experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP/Tally applications.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Role Overview
The primary focus of this role is
Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Development, and Commercial Management.
You will be responsible for purchasing AV solutions from distributors and OEMs on a Pan-India basis, including overseas suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle overall activities of the Purchase department including cost negotiation, new product development, raw material procurement, vendor development, and strategic sourcing.
  • Purchase AV solutions from distributors and OEMs on a Pan-India basis, including overseas suppliers.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships at VP/CXO level.
  • Execute direct procurement from AV/IT OEMs & distributors (not government/tender-led).
  • Strong knowledge of AV brands such as Crestron, LG, Samsung, Extron, Biamp, Kramer, Cisco, etc.
  • Vendor development, stock control, sourcing, and procurement of material from vendors as specified.
  • Execute large corporate purchasing projects (₹10+ Cr single deals, ₹50+ Cr annually).
  • Work with ERP systems (SAP preferred) for PO, GRN, MIS reports, and inventory tracking.
  • Create and manage reports such as PO trackers, inventory value, and vendor performance.
  • Support sales processes from presales to post-sales for deal-specific prices in INR/USD, validity, and shipping costs.
  • Share delivery and PO trackers, with strong follow-up for deadline-driven tasks.
  • Willingness to work extra hours to meet RFP schedules.
  • Handle shipping/logistics for customer orders Pan-India.
  • Knowledge of GST, online buying portals, invoice validation, and material QC preferred.
  • Collaborate with sales, services, design, and project teams.
  • Research and identify new suppliers/vendors.
  • Familiar with DCs/Invoice/purchase entries/GRN, credit/debit notes.

We Are Not Looking For

  • Candidates with only in-house or low-value purchasing experience (₹1–2 Cr annually).
  • Candidates from purely portal-based or tender-driven procurement roles.
  • Candidates with only government sector or internal asset procurement exposure.
  • Candidates without hands-on negotiation experience with OEMs/distributors.
  • Candidates lacking ERP (SAP/Tally) or MIS reporting experience.
  • Poor grasp of basic accounting concepts (e.g., debit/credit).
  • Weak skills in Excel and data handling.
