Senior Accountant Role

Our organization seeks a seasoned Senior Accountant to specialize in Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance. The ideal candidate will lead and manage a team handling end-to-end GST operations, including return filing, audits, assessments, departmental queries, and litigation support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Filing of GST Returns
  • Experience in managing teams for drafting and submitting replies to SCN and preparing appeals
  • Handling annual GST compliance assessments and health checks for multinational clients
  • Reviewing client-prepared workings
  • Drafting responses to routine GST queries
  • Managing teams for monthly, quarterly, and yearly GST reconciliations
  • Assisting with GST department audits and assessments
  • Experience in representing the organization before appellate authorities
  • Proficiency in Excel, including Vlookup and Pivot table, and experience handling large data sets for high-turnover clients (500-1000 Cr)
  • Assisting with GST refunds for multinational corporations

Qualifications:

  • CA/CS/ICWA qualified or semi-qualified with 5-6 years of experience in GST-compliant firms
