Indirect Taxation Specialist

The role of Indirect Taxation Specialist is to provide advanced financial support to the business by managing all aspects of indirect taxation.

  • Ensure compliance with GST, Customs, and other indirect tax regulations.
  • Assist in timely filing of indirect tax returns.
  • Assist in filing of TDS/TCS returns as per Income Tax Act.
  • Assist in tax audits and assessments.
  • Optimize input tax credits.
  • Provide tax advisory on business transactions.
  • Support in department audits, regular assessments, tax litigation etc.
  • Keep updated on changes in indirect/direct tax (TDS/TCS) laws and their impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of indirect taxation for the company.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Optimize tax positions.
  • Support the company's financial strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant, ICAI.
  • 2-5 years of overall experience in the Taxation (preferably in FMCG set up).
  • Experience on SAP is must.
  • Knowledge on various direct & indirect taxes.
  • Good knowledge of GST Portal, MS Office.
