Desktop Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to provide top-notch technical assistance to our organization.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Desktop Support Specialist.

  • As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Outlook, including email configuration, sync issues, PST management, and more.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows OS and basic software applications to ensure seamless operation.
  • Utilize ticketing tools to log, track, and close IT support tickets according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and hardware/software installations to keep our systems up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams for escalations or network-related issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate asset records and document support tasks effectively.
  • Provide remote or on-site support to end-users across departments, ensuring exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Outlook troubleshooting is essential.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS configuration and installation is required.
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar is necessary.
  • Basic understanding of hardware and network troubleshooting is expected.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial.
  • Able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any stream (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech, etc.).
  • A minimum of 1.5 years of relevant desktop support experience is required.
  • Immediate or short notice joiners are preferred.
