Senior SAP Security Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining SAP S/4HANA security solutions, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our organization's data.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SOX audit requirements and segregation of duties (SoD) issues, as well as experience with end-to-end SAP S/4HANA security implementation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and maintaining SAP S/4HANA security solutions, including access control, authentication, and authorization.
  • Conducting regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions into business processes.
  • Providing training and support to end-users on security best practices and procedures.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to recommend and implement effective security solutions.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA security implementation.
  • Strong understanding of SOX audit requirements and segregation of duties (SoD) issues.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori and S/4HANA security solutions.
  • Proficiency in working with SAP tables, including AGR, USH, and USR.
  • Ability to define scope and gather business requirements for SAP security roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to educate stakeholders on security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Competence in analyzing and resolving Fiori-related authorization issues.
