Senior Customer Service Officer

The Senior Customer Service Officer - Distribution will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of branch activities in a timely and efficient manner. This includes ensuring excellent customer service, achieving personal targets, and supporting the achievement of branch targets through effective upselling and cross-selling to customers.
Key Accountabilities
The Senior Customer Service Officer - Distribution will be responsible for contributing to the efficient operation of the branch through accurate and timely processing of customer-related transactions and account maintenance. This includes ensuring the achievement of personal targets and supporting branch target achievement through effective upselling and cross-selling to customers. Additionally, the officer will support the branch operations officer in book-keeping and maintenance of documents.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
The Senior Customer Service Officer - Distribution will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and bank policies for all processes related to banking transactions. This includes processing cash transactions, transfer transactions, and clearing of instruments. The officer will also be responsible for receiving and processing cheques, demand drafts, dividend warrants, pay orders, and other instruments, bills for deposits up to authorized limits. Furthermore, the officer will process requests for new account opening, transaction updation, and customer service requests, responding to customer service account inquiries such as account balances, transaction details, statements, and fees/charges. The officer will also address customer queries and grievances within defined timelines and escalate when required to the appropriate authorities.
Required Experience
The Senior Customer Service Officer - Distribution requires 2-4 years of banking experience. A graduate in banking or commerce is preferred.

The Senior Customer Service Officer - Distribution must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients. The officer must be responsible, able to meet deadlines, and have knowledge about internal and external regulations. Additionally, the officer must have good computer knowledge and be a team player, self-motivated, and take initiative.
