Schneider Electric is seeking a skilled Certification Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the compliance of our offer with applicable standards and regulations.

About the Role

  • Planning, monitoring, and executing conformity assessment activities according to IS IEC 60947 series, UL 60947 series, and statutory requirements.
  • Collaborating with internal functions, national, and international certification bodies to achieve market access and differentiate our offer.
  • Supporting the Business in implementing Quality control Orders from Ministry of Heavy Industries and BIS Scheme X certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing consultation services to Offer Owners for national, international, or segment market access.
  • Collaborating with the Standardization and Influencing team to ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Coordinating with Certification Bodies to ensure timely issuance of certificates and declarations of conformity.

Requirements

  • Engineer in Electrical and Electronics or alternate education with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge in application of Statutory Instruments and Standards.
  • Mastery of English language is mandatory.
