Cloud Data Engineer Role Description

About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines in a cloud environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS EMR, Glue, PySpark, Airflow, and Python. They should be able to work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other engineering teams to support data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop efficient data pipelines using AWS services such as EMR and Glue.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of data infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain ETL solutions using PySpark and Python.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency in PySpark and Python.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services: EMR and Glue.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure as code is a plus.
