Senior Contract Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Contract Manager to join our team. This is a high-profile role that requires strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vendor Database Development: Develop a comprehensive vendor database for all trade packages, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Tender Prequalification: Conduct thorough prequalification processes for shortlisting tenderers for contract awards, adhering to company standards.
  • Tender Document Compilation: Compile tender documents, including drafting special conditions of contract, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Tender Negotiations: Lead tender techno-commercial negotiations with tenderers and internal stakeholders, fostering effective collaboration.
  • Contract Preparation: Prepare and release contract documents, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
  • Claims Management: Anticipate potential claims and implement strategies to mitigate their impact during the contract period.
  • Cost Variations: Proactively control cost variations and extra items, maintaining budgetary integrity.
  • Counter Claims: Identify possible counter claims and validate final bills according to contractual provisions.
  • Contract Compliance: Validate and track contractual compliances, including bank guarantees submitted by vendors.
  • Arbitration: Serve as an arbitrator between the company and the contractor, resolving disputes efficiently.
  • Contract Closure: Ensure proper contractual communications to minimize claims and analyze EOT and liquidated damages.
  • Contract Termination: Terminate contracts on contractual grounds, authenticating reconciliation statements.
  • Dispute Resolution: Resolve and settle disputes between contractors and between clients and contractors.
