As a Building Automation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of building systems. This includes designing system architectures, preparing detailed engineering documents, and developing control strategies.

  • Developing and implementing control logic to optimize system performance;
  • Coordinating with sub-contractors and site installation teams;
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining existing systems;
  • Providing on-time technical solutions to problems and facilitating operations and maintenance assistance;

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics and Communications, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university, as well as at least 4-6 years of experience working with commissioning building automation and control systems, preferably on the Niagara platform. Additional qualifications include Niagara Certification and ability to demonstrate ownership/leadership skills.

You will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering documentations, developing control strategies and logic, conducting site installation and coordination, and pre-commissioning and commissioning projects. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will ensure timely completion of projects and high-quality results.

To succeed in this role, you must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
