Job Title: Automation Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts based on system requirements and business specifications.

This includes converting functional requirements and acceptance criteria into automated test scenarios, utilizing tools such as OpKey or equivalent to build, schedule, and execute test automation, creating and managing test data sets required to support automation testing, analyzing test failures, identifying root causes, and updating scripts as needed.

The Automation Specialist will collaborate with QA leads, developers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage, contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of QA automation experience in an enterprise environment
  • Proficiency in using automation platforms like OpKey, Selenium, or similar tools
  • Ability to understand and translate business requirements into automated test scripts
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with test data creation and management
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
