Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities include managing all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team, identifying root cause and instigating permanent corrective actions for product quality issues, and working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues quickly and efficiently.
Job DescriptionThe Senior Quality Assurance Associate plays a critical role in ensuring that products meet quality standards required to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction. This involves ensuring that incoming materials meet required quality standards and speedily resolving any quality issues that may arise to ensure zero impact to the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team, maintaining high-quality standards across all production processes.
- Identify root cause and implement permanent corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of product quality issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Engineering is preferred, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in a Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
