Regional Business Development Manager, South India

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Business Development Manager to lead our business development activities in South India.
Key Responsibilities:
- To grow the market for Cambridge English Exams and learning solutions in South India in line with regional strategy and plans.
- To develop relationships with Cambridge English schools and associates in the region and ensure loyalty to Cambridge.
- To implement regional strategy, business development, and customer relationship management.
- To maintain current details of relationships with schools and stakeholders on our CRM/Sales Force system and identify follow-up actions when required.
- To develop and implement an ambitious school acquisition strategy for Cambridge in South India.
- To represent Cambridge English at events and make presentations or deliver speeches as required.
- To work with the marketing team on campaigns for creating awareness and for lead generation.
Requirements:
- Graduate qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience; preferably also post-graduate in an education-related field or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Ability to develop ongoing relationships with customers, government officials, and other stakeholders.
- Business development experience in education, particularly in the K-12 space.
- Attention to detail and accuracy and ensuring that schools receive a quick response to all correspondence.
- Familiarity with the education systems in the region and with school education particularly in the K-12 space.
- Negotiating contracts, building relationships, and familiar with CRM/Sales Force systems.
