Quality Assurance Specialist (SDET) Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This is a hands-on role for a developer who is passionate about quality, with a strong focus on using cutting-edge tools to automate and optimize testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build automated tests, including unit and integration tests, directly within the core codebase using .NET/C# or Java.
  • Enhance and maintain separate UI automation framework built with Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Leverage containerization technologies like Docker to create robust, reproducible test environments that eliminate dependencies on shared infrastructure.
  • Actively leverage Generative AI tools to radically transform QA workflows, from generating test cases and data to optimizing automation scripts and creating comprehensive test reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and develop comprehensive automation test plans.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and continuous quality checks.
  • Identify and report defects with detailed steps to reproduce, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a software development or test automation role.
  • Strong programming skills in .NET/C# or Java.
  • Experience with web UI automation, specifically with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Fiddler, or Swagger.
  • Experience with containerization, particularly Docker, and using it for test automation.
  • Demonstrated experience in leveraging GenAI tools for test-related tasks and a passion for exploring new AI-driven QA solutions.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like NUnit, JUnit, or TestNG.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Proficiency with source control (Git) and test management tools like JIRA or TestRail.
  • A strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
