Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Position:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to drive quality and excellence in our software products. This role involves designing and implementing test strategies, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring seamless integration into continuous delivery pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, cases, and automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Design and maintain automated test scripts for functional, performance, and security testing to identify and address potential issues.
  • Conduct thorough regression, exploratory, and usability testing to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Integrate automated tests into continuous delivery pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, collaborating with developers for resolution.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports to facilitate knowledge sharing and improvement.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with security and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001) to maintain the highest level of data protection and quality.
  • Provide regular test reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for continuous improvement to optimize software quality and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices to foster a culture of quality and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Strong experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and performance testing frameworks (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
