Automation Test Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our organization.

About the Position
  • Develop and automate functional tests for products using JavaScript and test frameworks.
  • Contribute to test case identification and necessary testing documentation.
  • Maintain and update automated tests as per application changes.
  • Extend and enhance existing automation frameworks to work with new services and write end-to-end automation for user scenarios.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of automation test experience using JavaScript and test frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design, and debugging skills.
  • Experience in manual testing, API automation testing, and framework building.
  • Proficient in creating scripts using reusable methods.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SQL programming and database technologies.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Selenium Webdriver, and Continuous Integration concepts.
  • Knowledge of Agile Software Development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assessment of current automation coverage and suggest ways to increase automation coverage.
  • Execute tests according to a defined schedule and transmit results.
  • Evaluate existing manual regression suite and translate manual test cases to automation tests.
