Job Title: Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves designing, developing, and executing automated tests for software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automation testing principles and methodologies, as well as experience with popular testing frameworks and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium and other testing frameworks.
  • Execute and maintain automated test suites to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product management, to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support automation efforts.
  • Continuously improve and refine automation processes and tools to optimize testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of experience in software QA and/or automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of automation testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with popular testing frameworks, including Selenium, Appium, and TestNG.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and tools.
Technical Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in Web application and API testing methodologies.
  • Expertise in automation testing tools and programming languages, including Java, Python, and C#.
  • Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Understanding of cloud-based testing and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git and SVN.
Education and Certifications

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Software testing or quality assurance certification (e.g., ISTQB, CTFL).
