Overview of the Senior Data Integration Developer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Integration Developer to design, develop and implement efficient data integration solutions using Fivetran, Matillion ETL and Qliksense.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop efficient data integration solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and loading.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of data integration development.

Requirements:
  • 3–7 years of experience in data integration development with a strong focus on Fivetran, Matillion ETL and Qliksense.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL (complex queries, optimization, stored procedures).
  • Proficiency in cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery or Azure Synapse).
  • Experience with data modeling techniques (star schema, snowflake schema, slowly changing dimensions).
  • Exposure to Qlik Sense or other BI platforms (dashboard integration, data prep).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT, Control-M).
  • Familiarity with Python/JavaScript for custom transformations or APIs.
  • Understanding of data governance, security and compliance.
  • Exposure to DevOps/CI-CD for data integration (Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, IT or related field.
